Iron Ore Storage Shed (Xstrata)
Fraser Osborn recently completed design development including integration with existing train unloading and ship loading facilities, preparation of drawings and specifications and preparation of capital cost estimate for the extension the Xstrata Number 2 shed. (on the left in the above photo).
The shed extension is to be used for the export of 1 Million tonnes per annum of magnetite.

Concentrate Storage & Export Facility (Xstrata)
Fraser Osborn previously undertook design development, preparation of estimate, calling of tenders, scheduling and supervision of construction for concentrate storage shed 200 metres long with a maximum width of 55metres constructed with 9,000 square metre roof.
The roof supporting columns were piled, with the 6 metre high concentrate retaining walls on a mass foundation.
The project included feed in conveyors and feed out conveyors.
The feed out conveyors are loaded by reclaim hoppers where concentrates recovered from stockpiles are placed by front end loader.

Iron Ore Storage & Export Facility (Barrick)
Fraser Osborn undertook feasibility study, preliminary design and capital cost estimate for magnetite storage and export facility for one Million tonnes per annum.
Facility included train unloading, conveyors to storage shed and from storage shed to ship loader

Iron Ore Storage & Export Facility (Private Client A)
Fraser Osborn is currently undertaking, design specification and construction supervision for a 1 Million tonne per annum magnetite storage and export facility for a private Client.

Iron Ore Storage & Export Facility (Private Client B)
Fraser Osborn undertook feasibility study, preliminary design and capital cost estimate for magnetite storage and export facility for a private Client

5MTPA Phosphate Storage & Export Facility (Legend International)
Fraser Osborn recently undertook preliminary design and capital cost estimate for a storage and export facility which will be undertaken in several stages ramping up to 5 MTPA.
